Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra says work is her life and she would never complain about working too much. “I hate taking even a day off from my work,” she said. “Out of the day's 24 hours I don't mind working for 15,” the former Miss World told a prominent newspaper recently.
Priyanka said if she was not filming, she could be found reading scripts or selecting outfits for her next movie. Priyanka played the female lead in India's first superhero film Krrish opposite Hrithik Roshan and had an action-packed role in Don opposite Shah Rukh Khan – both movies were hits last year. Priyanka also said she enjoyed the fame that was part of the package of being a movie star, although she guards details about her private life. “To me loss of privacy is a small price to pay for fame and adulation,” she said. “But I do know where to draw the line. I would never let people know who I am seeing or where I eat or sleep,” Priyanka added.

Neha Dhupia is all set to sizzle on stage this New Year’s eve.Neha recently inaugurated Country Condos, service apartments of Country Club India Ltd (CCIL) in Mumbai, and will be performing at a New Year party organised by the firm.
This is the first time Neha is performing for CCIL and she will groove to a medley of foot tapping songs."I'll dance on a few songs from Garam Masala and Chup Chup Ke . I'll also be dancing on other hit tracks that have done well in the last few months like 'Crazy Kiya Re' ( Dhoom 2 ), etc. I am looking forward to it and I'm going to leave you guys wanting for more," said Neha who is thankful to her choreographers Pappu and Maalu for training her.Talking about her association with the club, Neha said: "CCIL is one of the biggest family entertainment club chains of India and I am proud to be a part of it. They are a great set of people and were very humble in their approach. However, Bipasha says it was the conviction of her producer Aditya Chopra and the requirement of her role that prompted her to slip into the tiny two-piece outfits. In the film, Bipasha plays twin roles, one of a cop and another of a Brazilian girl mostly dressed in bikinis.Bipasha says she was given the choice to wear shorts instead of bikinis in the film. But she chose the latter because she was confident that her stylist Anahita Shroff would design an eye-catching look for her.And now in an interview to a Mumbai-based tabloid, Bipasha has said that she won’t wear the bikini again.“I wouldn't wear a bikini on screen again. Amrita Arora won't do the towel dance
It would have been a sizzling performance had some contractual problems not prevented Amrita Arora from committing to former actor Kamal Sadanah’s movie Victoria 203. Amrita had agreed to play the unusual part of a woman masquerading as a man in the modern-day remake of the 1973 movie ‘Victoria 203’. She was also supposed to do a hot dance number in a towel.
But now Amrita has walked out of the project because of some contractual problems. Reports have it that the contract that Amrita was given to sign had many preconditions. It would have kept her away from other projects she wanted to do.Amrita presently has Atul Agnihotri’s movie Hello , Vikram Bhatt’s Red and Speed . Bollywood actress and Celebrity Big Brother winner Shilpa Shetty says she is desperate to leave the show's racism row behind her and move on and concentrate on building a career in the UK.Shilpa says she cannot resurrect Jade Goody's career."I am no Samaritan - I'm just human. If anybody thinks I can resurrect somebody's career or character, they're wrong, it's just not possible for me to do," Shilpa told Reveal magazine. She said, "If I need to speak to Jade, I don't need to do it as a publicity stunt - I'll do it in private, between ourselves." Shilpa was at the centre of controversy on the reality show, when viewers complained that she was being bullied by fellow housemates Jade Goody, Jo O'Meara and Danielle Lloyd. Shilpa said she was surprised when Goody apologised to her for her behaviour towards her on the show. "I didn't expect it. It was very unlike Jade to apologise. Convinced that it was a fake scorpion, Tanushree fiddled with the creature with her foot. After filing a complaint over Mallika’s alleged obscene performance, advocate and Baroda Bar Association president Narendra Tiwari has furnished some more evidence in an attempt to substantiate his claims in a petition filed earlier this month.Tiwari has now come up with photographic evidence that Mallika had removed the trousers of
a man on stage during the performance. BBA president produced four photos in the court to authenticate his claims. In one photo, Mallika is seen removing the trousers of a man, while in another the man is seen trying to pull it up. While the photographs do not indicate if the man is a dancer and a part of the performance, Tiwari claims he could be a viewer who jumped on to the stage. "These photos are just another proof of her indecent performance on New Year's Eve,” said Tiwari. The court of chief judicial magistrate had ordered an inquiry into the criminal complaint filed against Mallika and JW Marriott Hotel that organised the event. Tiwari had filed the criminal complaint under section 8 of Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act, 1956.Mallika wore a single piece skin colored jump suit with a bikini top that was studded with diamonds and a silver diamond belt during her hour-long 'Jewel 07' program.

Raima Sen will play an important role in actress-filmmaker Aparna Sen’s next movie.Aparna appears to have temporarily shelved her proposed movie ‘Jewellery Box’ with Govinda, Konkona Sen Sharma and Soha Ali Khan. She is rather focusing on another project with an unusual title called ‘Japanese Wife’.
It is learnt that the film will star a Japanese actress apart from Rahul Bose and Raima Sen.Aparna first spoke about the project with Raima in November last year.
Then Raima went to Aparna’s house in Kolkata to hear the script and agreed to do the film.“It is one of the finest scripts I have heard in recent times,” says Raima.The film’s story is apparently based on a women-centric theme. She is rather focusing on another project with an unusual title called ‘Japanese Wife’.It is learnt that the film will star a Japanese actress apart from Rahul Bose and Raima Sen.Aparna first spoke about the project with Raima in November last year.

The girl who shot to fame with her item number `Babuji Zara Dheere Chalo' in 2003 said her book would be ready by the middle of next year and Penguin publications is publishing it. "In this book, I will advise people to eat nutritious food. I am not advocating any dieting, in fact, people should eat five to six times a day in a smaller quantity under proper guidance," Yana, who was in Panaji to promote her New-year eve show `Goa Vibe 2006' along with Pooja Bedi, said. Yana's penchant for nutritious food led her to pen this book whose name, she wants to keep under wraps at this moment.

Kajol is reportedly picking up some new dance moves, putting the cha-cha, salsa and waltz in her repertoire. A newspaper report quoting choreographer Sandip Soparrkar, said that Kajol has joined a Latin American and western dance class.
Sonali Bendre is also in the group, Soparrkar said.
“It's great fun. You should see Kajol do the cha-cha-cha, she's superb,” he said. “But she dreads the rumba.” Soparrkar said Kajol was also learning the waltz at the class. “They've all joined the class for the love of dancing,” he said. Bollywood hottie Shilpa Shetty , who has managed to bag the honour of one of the 'hottest' contestants of UK television show Celebrity Big Brother, is receiving support from unexpected quarters. Animal activists in Britain are encouraging voters to back Shilpa to become the next Shilpa, who is participating in the reality TV show, urged people to boycott the circus. Shilpa posed for a campaign by the rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) in which she crouched in a cage, dressed in a tiger-striped body suit, with the tagline "Beaten, Lonely and Abused - Boycott the Circus".A PETA spokesman said: "When Shilpa did her advertisement against circuses for PETA, she had no idea that she would eventually be living in the midst of one. With a small troupe of dancers, Mallika stepped on stage dressed in a tiny silver top and skin-colour pants that gave the impression of nudity.Although Mallika was supposed to perform for 45 minutes, she walked off the stage after just 10 minutes because she objected to her performance being aired live on a television channel.While her fans were a tad disappointed, Mallika has still raised a few hackles with her hot act.Reports have it that social activist Vinod Jain saw Sherawat's performance on certain television channels on New Year’s Eve and found it very offensive to the Indian culture.Jain has reportedly written to the Mumbai police, urging them to take immediate action against Mallika for wearing suggestive clothes and dancing in an obscene way.However, the Additional Commissioner of Police of Santa Cruz Police station, Bipin Bihari, said that there has been no formal complaint filed as yet. An interesting incident happened when Tanushree Dutta was shooting for Vishram Sawant’s movie Risk .Although Tanushree doesn’t have a big role in the action-packed film, she does play an important character that provides moral support to the hero Randeep Hooda . Tanushree has also shot an item song called “Hichki” in the film.
It was during the shoot of this song that Tanushree reportedly encountered a scorpion. When she was ready for the shot and sitting on the dance floor waiting for the director to be ready, she saw a scorpion that someone had placed near her foot. She was required to shoot a portion of the song with the scorpion. Convinced that it was a fake scorpion, Tanushree fiddled with the creature with her foot. After a few minutes, much to her shock, the scorpion moved and Tanushree leapt on her feet and ran away.One of the production assistants then came and put the scorpion in a glass tumbler. The creature was released only before the shot was to be taken.And despite her fears Tanushree did shoot with the scorpion. After all, life mein risk to lena padta hai.

So, why is she being labeled as a possible candidate for Schizophrenia (a mental disease that afflicted Parveen and eventually she succumbed to it)?
The gossip magazine gave an account how Sushmita fired more than half a dozen employees at her home. The beleaguered employees obviously spitted venom against their former madam whom they had been serving for the last many years. Her behaviour was cited as irregular and fiery at times. Sen who has been going through a tough time with talks about her current flame Manav Menon ditching her for work and her last big release ‘Zindaggi Rocks’ coming in for stringent criticism. There have been reports about her getting back with former boyfriend Randeep Hooda as well. Hooda on his part gets majorly irked when asked about his current relationship status with Sen.

It’s time the stray film associations come together and do something about this situation. Indian films are getting recognized the world over and the film stars are enjoying an ambassador’s status. “I like the word sizzle,” said Neha Dhupia at a press conference to announce her arrival as a dance performer at the New Year’s bash at Country Club, Mumbai. Looking resplendent in a red number and a ready smile Neha was the star attraction as she posed-n-preened for the waiting cameras.
